Run is the game that started the whole series. You control a small grey alien sprinting along a tunnel floating in space, and the only real goal is to keep going without dropping into the gaps. The trick that defines it is the wall. When the floor runs out you can walk onto the side of the tunnel, and the whole view turns with you, so a wall becomes the new floor. How to play

Speed only goes up as you run. Waiting until you are right at a gap leaves no time to react, so decide on your line early and make the move before the edge arrives.

Tips

• Look a few tiles ahead rather than at your feet. Gaps are easy to handle when you see them coming and hard when you do not.
• Make small, early corrections. Big last-second swerves are what send most runs over the side.
• If a section keeps beating you, treat the restart as practice. The layout is the same each time, so you can memorise where the gaps fall.
• Use the walls deliberately. If the floor ahead is broken, the side of the tunnel is often the intended way past.
